Often in college it can feel like you’re the only one struggling or making mistakes. It can seem like everyone else has it together. But, the truth is, everyone faces challenges along the way, and that’s okay! That’s what resilience is about! The Mental Health Coalition’s (MHC) goal is to remind every Hokie that navigating challenges is normal and it can come with growth. Hokie Hiccups is an event acknowledging and celebrating the struggles or hiccups we’ve all experienced in our lives. It’s an opportunity for Hokies to share their experiences of growth through different expressive arts and creative mediums.
