Kevin Wogenrich, MS
Kevin Wogenrich is the Program Director of Meraki, the Well-Being Living Learning Community. Kevin has worked with Meraki the past seven years and joined the Hokie Wellness team in July 2023. In his role at Virginia Tech, he serves the students in Meraki by assisting with programming, instructing the required course, and providing support to improve their experience and well-being. Kevin is passionate about creating inclusive spaces where community can thrive and each student has the opportunity to Be Well, Be You.
Kevin served as a Resident Advisor at the Rochester Institute of Technology for 5 years while completing his Bachelor and Master of Science in Computer Science. He also completed a Master of Science in Student Personnel Administration at the State University of New York - Buffalo State University while also serving as a Residence Hall Director. After graduate school, Kevin served as a Complex Coordinator at SUNY Cobleskill, before joining the Virginia Tech community as a Residential Learning Coordinator for Hoge Hall. After his time in Residential Life at VT, he served as an Academic and Student Support Advisor for the Department of Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise at VT where Meraki was initially started, before ultimately transitioning into his current role.
Having grown up in Allentown, PA, Kevin is a dedicated Philadelphia sports fan, Go Birds! He is a Registered Yoga Teacher (200), and an avid gamer. On the weekends you can find him involved with student programming, community service, or spending time with his two cats Sylvester and Comet.
