Kevin Sutton

Assistant Director, Student Wellness

Kevin Sutton is the Assistant Director of Financial Wellness within the Hokie Wellness team. He received his Bachelor of Science from SUNY Oneonta in Mathematics and Theatre and is currently finishing his Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration online through Stony Brook University. Kevin has also completed Inceptia’s Certified Personal Financial Manager (CPFM) program and has undergone training in Financial Social Work (FSW). Kevin built the foundation for SUNY’s “Making Cent$” Financial Literacy/Wellness program, and has served as a resource to institutions around the country as they develop and enhance their financial wellness initiatives.

Kevin meets individually with students, plans and implements campus-wide events, and leads topic-based presentations related to personal financial topic areas including student loan repayment, credit reports, and budgeting to assist students and professional members of the campus community in developing their financial knowledge and skills.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys filling his Pokedex on the newest videogame, watching General Hospital, and eating at local restaurants. Kevin has also reached the 7th Kyu Genbu-Kai belt rank in Karate.
