Enjoy the hands-on experience of preparing easy, nutritious meals for yourself! Hokie Wellness offers cooking classes for employees and students. Participants improve their cooking skills, learn new techniques, and develop healthy cooking and eating strategies – all in a fun, social environment.

Fall is the perfect time to enjoy warm and hearty recipes. Join Hokie Wellness to learn how to create healthy and tasty soups and stews. In this class, you'll learn how to make your favorite soup recipes healthier by substituting lighter ingredients, adding extra protein and vegetables, and using flavorful spices and herbs. Participants will have the opportunity to samples all the featured soup recipes and take home a recipe booklet. The class will be held Friday, Oct. 26, from 12-1:30 p.m. in Wallace 405.

The cost of the class is $10 and includes the meal and recipe booklet. Space is limited and registration is required.
