The “Wrap That Package” educational campaign uses an accessible booth set up and trendy winter themes in order to help students identify the following:

  • Healthy practices related to condom use, safer sex, and relationships;
  • Testing options for STI’s;
  • STI and pregnancy prevention;
  • Methods and symptoms of STI transmission.

Virginia Tech’s Health Education and Awareness Team (HEAT) members facilitate the program, and students who participate in the 5-minute quiz are rewarded with candy and wrapped condoms. While the booth is only available during the winter season, HEAT members also teach hour-long workshops related to contraception and safer sex year-round.
