Health Educator

Amy Shorter Epperley is the Assistant Director of Hokie Wellness. She has more than 17 years of experience in various community health, exercise, and other wellness roles. She received her Bachelor of Science from Radford University. She also holds a Master of Science in Education and Health Promotion, as well as a Master of Public Health from Virginia Tech. Amy is FEMA certified, a certified Health and Wellness Coach and a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys. She loves to garden, hike and practice yoga.
